Week 2

TCU @ Air Force

TCU 28-  Air Force 24

TCU should win on the motivation they have not dropped two games since 2007.Even with Air Forces powerful running game, TCU should have the edge on a revived 4th quarter defence from last week and a great special teams unit.

With one week down one must ask the question of whether TCU are the contenders that their preseason rank made them out to be, or pretenders after their pathetic 3 quarter effort against Baylor.

The fact that people are calling out TCU, should inspire them to a better all round performance to win the game.

Time to shine Mr Paschall.

QB Paschall in particular has something to prove after training all summer in the heat and completing two a days workouts, he cramped up every second play.

Cramps are not a tear Paschall so take a spoon full of cement and harden up, because your team need you to shine against Air Force.

TCU are coming off a good fourth quarter and Air Force are the opposite allowing 17 points scored against them to close out the game.

Air Force do have  home field advantage and one of the most dynamite running games so  this will be no cake walk for TCU  and their defence.

However, the men who will shut down Air Forces running game are perhaps the best tandem line backer duo in the country Tank Carder and Tanner Brock.

Air Force will not win this game by lighting up the skies with their weak passing game so the slogan should be ‘win the trenches, win the game.’

It won’t be easy like last year for TCU, with returning only 6 starters back from that game.

Perhaps we are to harsh on TCU after week 1, as Baylor may be a dark horse to challenge  Oklahoma for the Big 12 title.

Therefore, TCU should turn there season around with this game and produce a solid win over a decent Air Force team.

Notre Dame @ Michigan:

Michigan 28 – Notre Dame 17

Michigan and here’s why; Shoelace Robinson. Who is shoelace?? Denard Robinson was arguably the most electrifying player in college football last season.

With over 2000 yards passing & 1500 yards rushing, he is a star and a favourite of El Jugador & Dr College Football.

The plus is that it’s only week 2 which should mean Robinson is injury free. Last season with his many runs and slight frame he got roughed up by the opposing defence on a weekly basis.

We saw Notre Dame get knocked off at home last week by a plucky South Florida side in week 1. To top things off Coach Kelly is a tad confused on who to play at QB after that first loss.

This is not a normal situation for a team like Notre Dame who expects to be in the national championship conversation.

At the end of the day I like a proven offense: Shoelace & Michigan, against an offense who doesn’t know who is going to lead them after week 1.

Notre Dame’s only hope is that their star linebacker from Hawaii; Manti Te’O puts a licking on Shoelace and absolutely cleans his clock.

Did I forget to mention this is at Michigan? At “the big house”, 100 thousand plus fans. Give me the wolverines.
