Week 8 GOTW
Going out west again to the PAC12 for Week 8 game of the week
#25 Washington vs #8 Stanford @ Stanford, CA
Well, I’m loving this match up of two great teams out on the west coast,
With Stanford sitting a perfect 6-0 while the Huskies are 5-1 while still being perfect in confrence play.
Im picking Stanford in this game for one OBVIOUS reason:
Mr Andrew Luck, aka MR Perfect.
Luck aka Mr Perfect
Luck has lead his Cardinal team to a very strong start ot the season, overall the team is both 5th in points per game 45.8 & points allowed per game 11.2
Now that right there tells me that they score A LOT & dont give up any thing! Offensively they are averaging 304 yards through the air & 187 along the ground.
They are straight up mashing every one that has stood in front of them. Which could be Stanford’s only down fall.
So far they’ve had a pretty vanilla schedule, the only “hard” game could have been the cross country trip to Duke, hardly an intimidating game.
Look for Luck aka El Jugador JR to get all his elite playmakers involved early. RB Stepfan Taylor running & WR/TE combo Chris Owusu and Coby Fleener cathcing plenty of balls.
Owusu & Fleener currently have just under 700 yards between them & Taylor rushed for 559. Keeping a great Stanford offense very balanced.
On the other side the Huskies have started life after Locker with some solid results! New QB Keith Prince has taken over nicely as a sophmore.
He currently has over 1400 yards in the air plus 21 tds. Good start in replacing Locker. What UW can also rely on is a very good RB in Chris Polk.
As a junior he is already at 700 plus yards & loooking to break the 1000 yards ruhing mark for a 3rd stright season. Now what ultimatley will be UW problem is the defence.
While being solid they are not ELITE, which is what they MUST BE to stop Mr Perfect. They are letting up 28 ppg which is simply not good enough.
The huskies best bet will be to try & out score the cardinal, is it possible? Yes. UW themselves are averaging 37ppg with their lowest score being 30 against Eastern Washigton opening week.
Stanford quite simply are good enough to win thanks to Andrew Luck., but what also helps is he has a strong D & plenty of skilled players at his disposal.
If the D can keep Prince in check, the cardinal will come out on top.

Wisconsin over Michigan State
Due to time constraints I am doing a quick write up so sorry.
I like the Badgers to wipe the floor with Michigan State because quite frankly I do not rate this Spartan team.
Look at Wisconsin ozzing with talent at QB with their stud Russel Wilson who was predicted by El Jugador to succeed before week 1.
Then they have their dynamic duo running backs of Montee Ball and James White together have produced a 1,00 yard season already not to mention Nick Toon the slick wide recieve who has been catching everything.
On the other side there is MSU, quite frankly a team which has beat cupcake teams, a loss to notre dame and beat a inconsistent Michigan team last week.
Don’t let their defensive ranking fool you, this team sucks and does not belong in the top 25. I don’t rate their offence and I hope Wisconsin finally shows the world that MSU belong in the dumps.
I will never rate this school as a football team
Let me take you back to two weeks ago and when they beat Ohio State in what was clearly one of the msot boring games of the year, so not only do they suck but they are boring to.
I will put it bluntly I hate MSU more than any other team, so this is clearly a byist pick. I tell you what though if MSU somehow win I will streak down my street and post the photos next week.
Wisconsin blow out MSU.
