Week 10 Upsets
Tulsa @ UCF
Dr College Football had a tip off from one of his friends earlier in the week about the odds of Tulsa being an underdog against University of Central Florida.
HE pounced on that last night on the podcast which you can find on College Football Betting on iTunes and now the results are in with Tulsa beating them by 7.
If you don’t believe me check the podcast because I said it.
Main reason I chose them was their NFL read QB G. Kinnie.
Sorry the write up is short but I had called it last night and the game was already over.
Like I said check the podcast I called them last night.

For this weeks upset i have turned to the big12, Texas to be specific.
Texas Tech vs #21 Texas Longhorns @ Austin, TX
If Tech can beat a much better Oklahoma side on the road, they should be able to handle a less than impressive ‘Horns team.
Let’s just start with the Red Raiders QB Seth Doege. The junior QB has stared since taking over the reins as Tech’s number 1 signal caller.
Doege not only lead his side to a win over #1 OU, he’s putting up the big numbers that Tech is known for.
Doege has put up HUGE numbers, El Jugador numbers as previously stated:
In 8 starts, Doege has these impressive stats: 254 of 374 passes complete, 2779 yards & 22 TD’s against 6 INT’s.
Out of those stats what really grabs my eye is that of those 6 picks, only 1 has come on the road!
Seeing how often they throw, that shows how precise this slick cat is.
Then look at his wide out corp. 4 good players that are more than reliable, the stats back them up:
Alex Torres: 41 catches 510 yards 4 TD’s. Eric Ward: 49 catches 492 yards 8 TD’s
Darrin Moore: 23 catches 354 yards 4 TD’s & Cornelius Douglas 29 catches 329 yards 1 TD.
Thats spreading out the field and making the most of your options.
Tech’s only problem on offense is the loss of RB Eric Stephens, his knee was dislocated on a “cheap shot” against A&M.
Stephens had 570 yards & 8 TD’s through 5 games before his injury, that rushing element kept opposing D’s on their toes.
Tech has turned to freshman DeAndre Washington to replace Stephens, though he isn’t as productive, Washington is giving Tech a respectable ground game.
Then on D, Tech is hardly impressive…… giving up 32 ppg. That’s good for 93rd in college football.
As a team they only have 10 sacks & 5 picks. I hate to say it but DR College Football would upgrade their defence.
The only plus is they are up against the ‘Horns offense. Now they can run the football 218.9 ypg. But can you out run a passing attack?
If Tech gets in front early, can Texas rely on Ash/McCoy to throw the ball & get the ‘Horns back in the game… quickly?
The other plus is the Texas D isn’t as “great” as what it used to be. They don’t seem to have the playmakers that usualy rome the Texas defence.
Giving up 21.7 ppg, i’m not quite sure if Texas can keep up on the score board seeing Tech is putting up 38.9 ppg.
So after last week’s debacle against Iowa State i see the Red Raiders bouncing back with a 42 -31 win is Austin.
